Yorkshire Jets will finish in the Netball Superleague's top four this season after beating Team Bath 55 points to 44 in Leeds on Thursday night.
In a closely fought encounter, Anna Carter's Jets started well pulling out a three-goal lead by the end of the first quarter and extending that in the second to go into half-time 31-22 ahead.
The away team came back though in the third quarter with Bath bringing the deficit down to just four goals. Jets grew their lead once again though in the final 15 minutes with strength in all areas of the court, including from Player of the Match Sally Butters, resulting in an 11-point win.
It means, with two games to go in the round-robin stage of matches, Jets are now guaranteed to be in the competition’s semi-finals, and at the Copper Box Arena at London's Olympic Park for the Superleague Finals weekend, later this month.
The next game this Easter for Jets is on Monday when they welcome Celtic Dragons to Hull's Airco Arena for a game in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Watch Yorkshire Jets v Celtic Dragons live on Sky Sports 2 from 7.30pm on Monday April 6.
