Swindon are hoping to get back to winning ways against Charlton - live on Sky Sports 1 HD from 11.30am on Saturday - as they welcome Tim Sherwood to the Sky Bet League One club.
Sherwood, 47, has been appointed as the director of football of the struggling club and will take training alongside Luke Williams who will remain as head coach.
The Robins are expected to make a number of changes after six players were rested for their game against Exeter in the Checkatrade Trophy on Tuesday.
Sean Murray and Nathan Thompson remain doubts due to injuries which kept them out of the midweek game.
International duty means Charlton boss Russell Slade is without three first-team regulars for the short trip.
Josh Magennis, Jordan Botaka and Ademola Lookman are all unavailable, with the latter having scored a brace after coming off the bench in the Addicks' FA Cup win over Scunthorpe last weekend.
There are also doubts over midfielder Ricky Holmes, who suffered a foot injury in that game, and Jason Pearce.
Defender Jorge Teixeira could be in line for his first league action of the season after returning from a hamstring problem against Colchester in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek. Youngster Joe Aribo impressed in that game and could also make Slade's squad for the weekend.
