Graham Westley has been appointed the new first-team manager of Sky Bet League Two club Newport County.
The 48-year-old replaces Warren Feeney, who departed the Welsh club last week.
Five candidates were interviewed, with a statement released by Newport on Friday saying: "The Board were unanimous in their decision to appoint Graham, due to his extensive managerial experience in the Football League."
He will take up his role on Monday with Sean McCarthy and James Bittner taking charge of the team for Saturday's match against Colchester United.
Westley will be unveiled at a press conference on Monday. County are currently bottom of the table, with just one win in nine games.
Westley played most of his football outside the top four divisions, while having managerial spells at Preston North End and Peterborough among a number of other clubs.
