England's second-place finish in Group B means they will play the second-placed team from Group F in the last 16 - which could be either Portugal, Hungary, Iceland or Austria.
The knockout tie will take place at 8pm on Monday June 27 at the Allianz Riviera in Nice.
The teams in Group F complete their final pool games on Wednesday at 5pm, with Hungary playing Portugal and Iceland taking on Austria.
The Group F table is currently topped by Hungary on four points, with Iceland second on two points, ahead of third-placed Portugal, who are also on two points, and Austria in fourth with one point.
With all four teams capable of finishing second, here are the permutations for Group F...
Hungary beat Portugal
If Hungary beat Portugal they will finish in first place with seven points.
An Iceland draw or win against Austria would mean Iceland finish second and Portugal would finish third.
Should Austria beat Iceland, Austria will finish second and Iceland and Portugal's final position will be decided on goal difference.
Hungary draw with Portugal
If Hungary draw with Portugal they will win Group F, as long as Iceland don't beat Austria.
If Iceland beat Austria the winner of Group F will be decided on goal difference between Hungary and Iceland. The number of goals Hungary score against Portugal could be a factor - as could Hungary and Iceland's fair play record, should they be tied on goal difference and goals scored.
A draw between Iceland and Austria would mean Iceland finish second, with Portugal third - unless Portugal score two more goals in their draw with Hungary than Iceland do against Austria.
An Austria win would mean they finish second and play England on Monday.
Hungary lose to Portugal
Portugal will win the group if they beat Hungary and Iceland fail to beat Austria.
If Iceland beat Austria the group winner will be decided on goal difference.
Should Iceland draw or lose to Austria, Hungary will finish second in the group and play England.
So, what's most likely?
Portugal will fancy their chances of beating Hungary and are 4/11 favourites to do just that with Sky Bet.
Sky Bet also have Austria as 21/20 favourites to win their fixture against Iceland. The draw is more favourable (21/10) than an Iceland win (3/1), too.
Either an Austria win or draw in that fixture, coupled with a Portugal win, would mean England play Hungary in the last 16.
