Portugal centre-back Pepe is an injury concern for the Euro 2016 semi-final against Wales on Wednesday.

Portugal press officer Onofre Costa ended a news conference by saying Pepe has a thigh muscle problem and would not be training on Monday.

"Pepe has a muscle pain in his thigh and is not going to train today as a precaution," Costa said.

The Real Madrid defender is considered one of Portugal's most important players, alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, and has been one of the team's stand-out performers at Euro 2016.

Swedish referee Jonas Eriksson will officiate at Wednesday's semi-final between Wales and Portugal in Lyon.
