Dagenham's Femi Ilesanmi has extended his loan with Histon until November, according to the club's manager David Livermore.
The 19-year-old defender signed a two-year deal at Victoria Road in July after a successful trial, but was allowed to join Blue Square Premier side Histon on a one-month loan deal. Ilesanmi has since extended his stay for a further two months, although Stutes boss Livermore is hoping to keep the defender even longer. "We'd like Femi here for the rest of the season," he told the Cambridge News. "At the moment, we're only allowed to bring him back for two months. "Then he'd have to go back to Dagenham before we can bring him here again in January. It's one of those strange rules the FA have come up with." He added: "He's fantastic player... if we could get him here for the rest of the season (from January) it would be a good signing."
