Juventus maintained their four-point lead at the top of the Serie A table after Miralem Pjanic struck a late winning free-kick at Chievo.

Pjanic made it 2-1 with 15 minutes remaining, to keep them four points clear of Roma, who beat Bologna comfortably 3-0 in the late game on Sunday.

Former Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah hit a hat-trick for Roma as they eased to victory at the Stadio Olimpico.

AC Milan stay in third after substitute Gianluca Lapadala grabbed his first goal for the club to earn them all three points from their trip to Palermo.
