Cristiano Ronaldo rediscovered his goalscoring touch in style as he scored five in Real Madrid's 6-0 hammering of Espanyol.
After going 500 minutes without a goal in La Liga, the 30-year-old put Real in front inside seven minutes at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat, slotting home from Luka Modric's through ball.
10 minutes later Ronaldo grabbed his second of the game from the penalty spot, firing a well-placed finish into the net after Gareth Bale had been felled in the box.
Then, in the 20th minute, Ronaldo completed a rapid treble as he converted Bale's cross to put Real out of sight early on, before going on to score a further two in the 6-0 rout.
