WATCH: La Liga's greatest gaffe? An own goal to forget for Unai Garcia
Sunday 5 March 2017 20:50, UK
Osasuna's bad luck continued as their defender Unai Garcia sliced the ball into his own net in their 5-2 defeat to Las Palmas.
With the score finely poised at 2-2, Garcia got his clearance all wrong and handed Las Palmas the lead with an own goal he will not want to watch back.
Osasuna never recovered from the mishap, and the heavy defeat sees them lie bottom of the table and 13 points from safety.
Garcia's mistake was typical of a team down on their luck, and the club are yet to record a victory in 2017.
Their last win came in the Copa del Rey in December - 2-0 at Granada - while you have to go all the way back to October 17 for their only league win this season - a 3-2 victory at Eibar.
