Memphis Depay praised for impressive Lyon debut after Manchester United switch

Former Manchester United winger Memphis Depay has been praised for his swift integration into Lyon's first team after impressing on his debut for the club.
The Netherlands international was sold to the Ligue 1 outfit on Friday, bringing an end to a disappointing 18-month spell at Old Trafford.
Depay came off the bench to make his Lyon debut in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Marseille, playing the final 11 minutes of a win that strengthened Les Gones' grip on fourth place.
And, speaking after the game, head coach Bruno Genesio commended the Dutchman's swift adaptation to life in French football.
"He showed that he could integrate into the game philosophy," Genesio told OLTV.

"I've already seen a technical relationship with the other players and I liked his defensive work.
"He lacks the rhythm of matches but he is physically well. He has so much desire.
"This is an additional asset and variety for our team."
