Bury confirm David Flitcroft exit after 11 games without a win

Bury have confirmed the departure of manager David Flitcroft and his assistant Ben Futcher, after a slump in form that has included 10 defeats in 11 games.
After an impressive start to the campaign that included five straight League One victories, Flitcroft won League One Manager of the Month for September.
But the Shakers have failed to win since then and have slumped to 16th in the table.
Flitcroft led the Greater Manchester club to automatic promotion to the third tier in 2015 and kept them up with a 14th-placed finish last season.
But on Wednesday, the club said on Twitter: "The board of Bury FC can confirm that David Flitcroft and Ben Futcher have left the club with immediate effect.
"A further statement will be released on Thursday. No further comment will be made this evening."
Bolton-born Flitcroft played more than 100 times for Bury as a player but began his coaching career at rivals Rochdale, for whom he also played.
He became manager at Barnsley on a rolling contract in 2013 following a successful spell as caretaker, keeping the Tykes in the Championship, but was sacked a month before taking over at Bury in December 2013.
