Brentford have extended midfielder John Swift's loan from Chelsea for a further month.
The England Under-20 international has made four appearances for the Bees since joining from Stamford Bridge on October 3 - scoring his one and only goal in Saturday's 3-0 win at Charlton.
The extension of his deal will keep him at Griffin Park until January 3 and head coach Lee Carsley is pleased to have retained the services of the former Portsmouth youngster.
"We are delighted that Chelsea have allowed John to stay with us until January," Carsley told Brentford's official website.
"He has been a very good addition to the squad. He has slotted in well to the group. We spoke to him about pushing on and standing out with the quality he has. It is important he doesn't rest on his laurels.
"His work rate has been outstanding since he has been with us and if he wants to stay in the team he has to maintain that."
