Bournemouth wait on Juan Iturbe work permit
Monday 4 January 2016 15:50, UK
Bournemouth will find out this week whether their loan deal for Roma forward Juan Iturbe will receive international clearance.
Sky Sports News HQ understands the work permit hearing for the 22-year-old will take place in the coming days.
The Cherries, who announced his signing subject to an FA endorsement and a work permit at the weekend, remain hopeful of having him available in time for next Tuesday's visit of West Ham.
Iturbe had been on the verge of a move to Premier League rivals Watford before Bournemouth moved to confirm the signing and he has already taken part in his first Cherries training session.

Iturbe said: "It's a big opportunity for me to come and play in the Premier League. I'd like to thank everyone for making this move happen and I'm very pleased to be here.
"There were a few clubs that were interested but things happened pretty quickly and once this process was under way it was a straightforward decision for me to make.
"I didn't know a lot about Bournemouth as a club but the more I read and the more I found out how much they wanted me, it's an easy decision to go to a place where you feel really wanted. That became the overriding factor."
Although born in Argentina and capped at U20 level, Iturbe has represented Paraguay at senior level.
He moved to Porto from South America at the age of 18 and joined Roma for 30m euros in 2014 after loan spells with River Plate and Verona.
