Millwall have signed former Fulham midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe on a free transfer.

Tunnicliffe's Fulham contract was up earlier this summer, and the 24-year-old has signed a two-year deal at The Den, where he becomes Neil Harris' seventh close-season signing.

The 24-year-old was on Manchester United's books as a youngster and had spells on loan at Wigan and Blackburn during his three-and-a-half seasons at Craven Cottage.

"It's been a tough summer being out-of-contract, but I spoke to Neil about the club and he really sold it to me - his passion was clear to see," Tunnicliffe told the Millwall website.

"Hopefully I'll bring a lot of good stuff to the club! I wear my heart on my sleeve and I give 110% every game - I think the supporters will like that about me."

Harris said: "Ryan's a player of huge pedigree. He's played first team football at Manchester United and done really well at Fulham at the top of the Championship last season.

"Again, we've had to be patient, but I met him a couple of weeks ago and got a really good feel for him. We had a great chat about how we go about our work and how I work with my players. He, like the rest of the players I've brought in, has got a point to prove.

"He's a Millwall-type midfield player - he can certainly put his foot in and he can run box-to-box, too. He's got a really good passing range as well. He'll complement our other midfield players well."
