Swansea are in talks with Atalanta about selling striker Alberto Paloschi in a deal worth around £5m, according to Sky sources.
Paloschi joined the Swans in January in an £8m deal from Chievo having scored eight goals in the first half of the season for the Serie A side.
But the 26-year-old could only manage two goals following the move - in a 2-1 defeat to Spurs and the 2-2 draw with Stoke - while picking up the same number of yellow cards in the process.
And it looks like Swansea are prepared to take a loss on the Italian as they prepare for the new campaign.
