Nottingham Forest have rejected three bids for Michail Antonio and the player is set for talks to resolve his future in the coming days, according to Sky sources.
It is understood the latest offer of £4m came from East Midlands rivals Derby County, who are keen to sign the 25-year-old winger.
West Bromwich Albion are also thought to have had a bid for Antonio turned down last month, as well as one other unknown Premier League club.
Forest manager Dougie Freedman said: "We rejected it and we have the right to do that. I have a responsibility to this club and to these fans. We do not want to sell him."
Antonio was not in Freedman's squad for Tuesday night's 0-0 draw at home to Charlton. It is understood the London-born wide-player was at the City Ground and then returned home.
Antonio has featured in three of Forest's matches so far this season, scoring twice in the home defeat to Walsall in the Capital One Cup and once in the 2-1 home win over Rotherham on Saturday.
He signed for Forest from Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer last summer after two successful years at Sheffield Wednesday, where he scored 13 goals in 70 appearances.
Antonio began his career as a Reading trainee and had spells on loan at Cheltenham, Southampton and Colchester, before his most successful loan period at Wednesday was made permanent in 2012.
