Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Aapo Halme from Finnish side HJK Helsinki on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 19-year-old centre-half featured regularly for HJK as they won their domestic league in 2017 and has also represented Finland at Under 19 level.
The defender played for both FC Honka and Klubi-04 before joining HJK in 2015.
Halme, who is 6ft 4in, will join up with Carlos Corberan's Under 23 side with the view to stepping up to the first team in the coming months.
