Leeds sign Finnish defender Aapo Halme from HJK Helsinki

Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Aapo Halme from Finnish side HJK Helsinki on a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old centre-half featured regularly for HJK as they won their domestic league in 2017 and has also represented Finland at Under 19 level.

The defender played for both FC Honka and Klubi-04 before joining HJK in 2015.
