Arsenal full-back Carl Jenkinson looks set to go on loan to Crystal Palace, with a deal expected in the next two or three days.
Jenkinson has spent two previous loan spells at West Ham, and now looks to be heading to south London for the remainder of the campaign.
Palace boss Sam Allardyce is also trying to lure former Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra back to the Premier League, according to Sky in Italy.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said: “With Carl, yes, there is a possibility that he will move, in the next two or three days.”
Asked if Jenkinson’s destination is Palace, a smiling Wenger replied: “You look well informed…I cannot tell you much more because we have not come to any conclusion yet.”

Allardyce knows Jenkinson well having signed him on loan for West Ham when he was the club's manager.
On Thursday Allardyce said: "My interest is in strengthening the defence, not the attack at this moment in time.
"When Wilfried Zaha and Bakary Sako come back (from the Africa Cup of Nations), we have got good options on the front line.
"It is not a priority but we need to secure more defensive players. We have got bids in for three or four players and will find out if they are successful."
