Yannick Bolasie is travelling to Merseyside on Sunday to undergo a medical ahead of £30m move to Everton from Crystal Palace, according to Sky sources.
The 27-year-old winger will become the Toffees' record-signing should the deal go through, after the clubs agreed a fee surpassing the £28m Everton paid Chelsea for Romelu Lukaku in 2014.
Sky sources understand the fee could rise to £30m if all incentives are met.
Bolasie - a France-born DR Congo international capped 27 times - has been with Palace for four years since a move from Bristol City and was part of the squad promoted to the Premier League in 2013.
He has made 143 appearances for Palace during his four seasons, scoring 13 times, and he appeared as a second-half substitute in their opening Premier League defeat at home to West Brom on Saturday.
Everton started the season with a 1-1 draw at home to Tottenham, after which manager Ronald Koeman admitted he was hoping to bring in two or three new players as soon as possible.
Koeman said he wanted his attackers to be more "aggressive" and Bolasie fits the profile of a forward that works hard for the team off the ball.
