Dimitri Payet's agent will hold talks with West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan on Friday, in a bid to push through a move to Marseille, Sky sources understand.
Payet's representative will sit down with Sullivan to discuss the player's refusal to play for the club and his desire to secure a move to the Ligue 1 club in the January transfer window.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic confirmed on Thursday that the France international is not involved in first-team training and will not be selected for the weekend game against Crystal Palace.
Sky sources understand a £19m offer from Marseille has already been turned down. Payet signed a five-year contract at West Ham in February while Chelsea have been linked with the move for the 29-year-old in several national newspapers.
Bilic said he "expects" Payet to end his self-imposed exile and return to playing for the club, but the player's agent will tell Sullivan that his intention is to leave and that his preferred destination is Marseille.
"We have said we don't want to sell our best players but Dimitri Payet does not want to play for us," said Bilic, on Thursday.
"We are not going to sell him. I spoke to the chairman and this is not a money issue. We gave him a long contract because we want him to stay.
"He is refusing to play for us. I have a team to manage. He's probably been tapped up. Until he changes his attitude and shows the commitment the club have shown him, he is out of the team."
