Leroy Sane sorry for German punter after ruining £29k bet

Leroy Sane admits he feels sorry for a German punter who lost £29,000 when he scored Manchester City's fifth goal against Monaco on Tuesday night.
Marvin Jorres bet €2, around £1.70, that Atletico Madrid would beat Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 - which they did - and that City would beat Monaco 4-3, which they were, until Sane intervened eight minutes from time.
The Champions League double would have landed Jorres €34,200 - around £29,000 - but he finished with nothing.
"I was 100 per cent sure that I would win. I thought it was my day. I watched both matches simultaneously," he told Sky in Germany.
"And when Man City scored the goal I lied down on the floor and didn't move for five minutes."

Asked what he had to say to Sane, he showed the City winger his betting ticket and said: "Hey Leroy. That's my betting ticket. €34,200.
"Because of your goal it did not come true."
Sane heard about poor Marvin's misfortune, and posted: "I read about it in the newspapers...sorry for that poor guy."
