Tottenham in talks to sign Heung-Min Son from Bayer Leverkusen

Tottenham are in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over an £18m deal for their forward Heung-Min Son, according to Sky sources.
Sky Germany understands that the 23-year-old is in London and ready to undergo a medical - and he was not part of Leverkusen's match-day squad for the Champions League qualifying second leg tie against Lazio on Wednesday.
Tottenham have been actively pursuing a new forward and have had two bids rejected by West Bromich Albion for Saido Berahino, who has also had his transfer request rejected by the Midlands club.
Sky sources understand that, having had their latest, structured offer of £21m turned down, Spurs have reservations about making a third bid and have been exploring other options instead.
Son does have similarities to Berahino but has played the majority of his time at Bayer from the right or left wide positions, and Tottenham are currently involved in discussions about selling wide-man Eric Lamela to Inter Milan.
