Dons land McDonald
The 19-year-old former Southampton and Bournemouth ace has been on trial with The Dons for the past week and he has done enough to earn a permanent deal at Selhurst Park.
"He has been with us for a while in training and he's done very well," manager Stuart Murdoch (pictured) told the club's official website.
"He did well for the reserves against Portsmouth and showed us that he is capable of scoring goals.
"I'm pleased to get him in and now it's down to Scott to show that he can perform on a regular basis."
In other news, Wimbledon have handed a trial to Portsmouth midfielder Neil Barrett.
The youngster will spend the next week training with Murdoch's side, after being told he could leave Fratton Park.
