The highly-rated 18-year-old spent two months at London Road, making 15 appearances and scoring one goal.
There was an option for a further month but Reading chiefs have decided to bring him back in anticipation of a new manager arriving at The Madejski Stadium.
Chief scout and reserve team coach Brian McDermott told the club's official website: "He'll be back tomorrow - he's been at Peterborough for two months and done well, he's got some first team experience but now's the right time to bring him back.
"Andre being Andre, I'm sure he'll want to impress the new manager when he arrives and put himself in the frame for the first team."
