Will Arsenal get a better chance to end their 11-year wait for the Premier League title than this season?

That was the topic discussed by Thierry Henry and the Sky Sports experts after the Gunners moved to second in the Premier League after an awesome first-half display saw them beat Manchester United 3-0 on Super Sunday.

And, speaking after the game, Henry told Sky Sports: "Arsenal must win the league this year. They must win it.

"I don't know if they will get a better chance than this season. They have to win it this year, they must."

With Arsenal facing an uphill battle to keep their Champions League campaign alive - following defeats in their opening two matches against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos - Henry said qualification for the Europa League could hinder the Gunners' title push.

"It looks like it's going be a hell of a task for Arsenal to go through in the Champions League," he added.

"The worst thing ever would be for them to play in the Europa League. Then they will really be in trouble playing that Thursday night game.

Arsene Wenger was pleased with Arsenal's professionalism after their 3-0 win against Manchester United.

Asked whether Arsenal were well placed to launch a sustained tilt for the title, fellow Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher claimed an early exit from Europe's elite-club competition could aid Arsene Wenger's quest for a fourth crown.

"Arsenal are never going to win the Champions League, they always go out at the quarter-final stage at best," Carragher said. "So if they go out earlier it may actually be advantageous to them in terms of the title race.

Graeme Souness and Thierry Henry assess Theo Walcott's impressive performance in Arsenal's 3-0 win over Manchester United

"Arsenal need things to go for them this season and if they are going to win the league. They are not the best team, Manchester City are, they have the best squad.

"For them to win the title, it may be that they may need something and it could be going out of the Champions League.

"Arsenal must win the league this year. They must win it. I don't know if they will get a better chance than this season. They have to win it this year, they must."
Sky Sports' Thierry Henry on Arsenal title credentials

"They have £200m in the bank so Arsenal shouldn't be concerned financially with a Champions League exit. They will be in it again next year so don't worry about it - they weren't going to win it anyway.

"It may give them a big chance for the league this season because next season Chelsea will be back, they'll spend big again, as will United. This is a season for Arsenal to take as much as they can.

Theo Walcott has dedicated Arsenal's 3-0 win over Manchester United to their manager Arsene Wenger after a tough week for the team.

"Arsenal need to win a title. It has got to be the main aim for this team now. They've won two FA Cups the next step for them is to win the league.

"The thing with Arsenal in terms of going for a title is that they still maybe lack through the spine of the team, we have said that for years now.

"I don't think Arsenal have got better, I think the teams contending for the title have gone back a bit. Looking at Arsenal you can still say they are a bit short, and we are saying that about all the other teams."
