1. Mahmoud Dahoud (Borussia Monchengladbach) - 4.4
Several British newspapers have linked Germany U21 international Dahoud with a move to Anfield in the past and he remains top of the Football Whispers list.
Dahoud is an energetic all-round midfield talent, combining a tireless work rate and incisive movement with a broad range of passing and tenacious ball-winning.
Dahoud is under contract until 2018 and Gladbach are adamant that he is going nowhere. His Football Whisper rating has dropped 0.2 in the last 24 hours.
2. Lucas Moura (PSG) - 4.2
Lucas is still being discussed as a possible transfer to Liverpool and his rating in the Football Whispers charts did not dip below 3.0 in June.
The 23-year-old Brazil winger scored an impressive 13 goals in 32 starts for PSG in all competitions last season and continues to be linked with a move to Anfield.
3. Piotr Zielinski (Udinese) - 3.6
Midfielder Pitor Zielinski completes the top three, with media reports already suggesting that the Reds have had a £11.7m bid turned down for the Poland international.
He is signed to Udinese but has spent the last two seasons on loan at fellow Serie A side Empoli, where he has made 66 appearances and netted five times. His Football Whisper rating has dropped 0.2 in the last 24 hours.
