Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson says Thursday night's massive Europa League second leg clash with Manchester United is all about how his side perform.
The Reds have a 2-0 lead to defend, after having much the better of last week's first leg at Anfield.
But United had previously done well against Liverpool under Louis van Gaal and the experienced Dutch boss is confident they have the ability to overturn the deficit.
However, Henderson thinks that another good performance from Liverpool will see them safely through to the quarter-finals, regardless of how United play.
"We've got to prepare on what we want to do, focus on our game plan," said Henderson.
"If we do that, it won't matter what Manchester United do. It's all about us.
"I don't think we can worry too much about what United do, our main focus is on what we can do. Energy levels, playing high-intensity football."
Liverpool have not had any matches since the first leg and Henderson says they are eager to get back in action, as they bid for a fourth win in a row since losing the Capital One cup final on penalties.
"I think the last few weeks we have been building momentum," he said.
"It was a good night [last Thursday]. Not only the result but the performance, so we can take a lot of confidence from that.
"But it's only halfway. Hopefully we can finish the job off.
"A few of the lads have experienced games like this before. We've played in many big games - last month we played in a cup final.
"We've had a week to prepare, which will only help us, and we are looking forward to it."
