Manchester United have all-but confirmed the signing of Dortmund ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Or was it just a mistake?

Manchester United seemed to have jumped the gun after showing their new away kit on the club's website with the name Henrikh Mkhitaryan on the back.

Sky sources reported on June 27 that United are close to completing the signing of the Borussia Dortmund midfielder for a £26.3m fee.

It is understood the 27-year-old Armenian has agreed personal terms with the Old Trafford club and is all set for a medical.

But on Thursday evening the United website were showing pictures of the away kit for the new season with the letters 'Mkhitaryan' on the reverse side of the blue shirt.
