Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville answer your Twitter questions on Monday Night Football.

Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane are both 23-years-old, have both scored 17 Premier League goals this season and both have four assists to their name.

But who would you rather have in YOUR team?

Lukaku became Everton's joint-leading Premier League scorer during Saturday's win over Sunderland, while Kane hit a stunning hat-trick in Tottenham's 4-0 success against Stoke.

And that prompted Monday Night Football experts Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher to debate the two in-form forwards.

Would you rather have Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku in your team? Neville and Carragher look at the debate in depth...

Gary Neville

I would go with Kane, but I would add a little bit of subtlety and nuance to that in the sense that if you were playing in a team that was struggling and needed a loan striker to run the channels and score a goal by dribbling past people on their own, you'd probably go for Lukaku in that type of team.

Ultimately they are both huge talents. I'd go for Kane, but if you're in a certain type of team you may go for Lukaku as a different type of striker who can have more impact across the back four.

I've been fortunate to work with Kane and he is an absolute dream. Sometimes Lukaku doesn't look like he's giving his absolute all in a game, maybe that's just an impression, but with Harry Kane you get the feeling he takes the result home with him. If he plays badly and loses you get the feeling he'll be suffering and be the first on the training pitch the morning after.

In terms of great English goalscorers over the last 15 years there's been a shortage of talent. I think with Harry Kane, for the next 10 years if he can stay clear of injury, there's no doubt he will be a fantastic goalscorer.

At this moment, I think Harry Kane has the slight edge on Lukaku, but I would say Lukaku has the potential to be better than Kane because he's got physical attributes that Harry Kane hasn't got; power, pace and aerial ability. Without a doubt right now its Kane, but Lukaku has still got more potential to get out of himself.

With Lukaku you can't help but draw comparisons with Didier Drogba because of his size, power and pace. I've been critical of him in the past and one of my big criticisms of him is when he doesn't score sometimes you don't see him.

Drogba could play in a game and still be man of the match without scoring. He could dominate a back four or two centre-backs. When Lukaku doesn't score I still feel he should be having a major impact on the game and that's something going forward that he's got to do.

Great players don't just perform themselves, they affect other people. I think he's definitely got the potential to be world class with his goalscoring record. I just think if he could improve and become an all-round player he'd be well on his way to getting there.
