Liverpool will face competition from Real Madrid for the signature of Alisson, says South American football expert Tim Vickery.
The Reds have reportedly been interested in the Roma goalkeeper for some time, and Loris Karius' calamitous performance in Saturday's Champions League final has only increased the speculation.
Vickery says Alisson - who is in Brazil's World Cup squad - is not desperate to leave Roma, but will have options should he decide to move on.
"The focus between now and the end of the World Cup from Allison will be totally on the tournament", said Vickery.
"I understand he is very happy at Roma but there is interest not only from Liverpool but from Real Madrid too. The asking price could increase or decrease depending on what happens during the World Cup.
"He's an excellent goalkeeper. Brazil stuck with him last season when he spent almost the entire season on the bench for Roma. This season people have seen what a great goalkeeper he is.
"If he wants it, it looks like the options will be there to move on after the World Cup."
Alisson is firmly entrenched as Brazil's number one going into the tournament in Russia - with Manchester City's Ederson pushed into reserve - and Vickery explained why his international coach Tite values him so highly.
"Tite says he's wonderful athletically", explained Vickery. "He's got these giant arms, he fills the goal, and he's got a cool head as well.
"No doubt about it, he goes into the World Cup as Brazil's first-choice."
