Sean Dyche believes Burnley were unlucky to come away with just a point against Premier League leaders Chelsea at Turf Moor.
Antonio Conte's side had looked on course for another routine victory when Pedro fired in the opening goal after just seven minutes on Sunday afternoon.
However, the Clarets hit back in spectacular fashion when Robbie Brady curled a superb free-kick past Thibaut Courtois midway through the first half.
Burnley squandered other chances to take all three points but Dyche was pleased with the overall performance of his side.
"[I was] both impressed and pleased," he said. "You're taking on a fine side, quite obviously, market leaders for a reason because they are such a good side.
"We limited them to just two efforts on target which is tough enough in itself I think we made four or five really good chances.
"Certainly two or three almost golden chances. So overall I'm very pleased."
Brady marked his home debut with an impressive goal and Dyche was quick to praise the Republic of Ireland international, who joined the club from Norwich during the January window.
"There are other parts to his game that he has got to get used to with us, quite obviously, but part of his make up is his strong left foot and the ability to produce good moments," Dyche said.
"That [free-kick] certainly was a fine moment."
Burnley remain in the bottom half of the table despite the draw and Dyche insists his side is still a work in progress.
"I don't think that we're the real deal," he said. "I've never mentioned that we are, we're a work in progress but there is work and signs of the good work so I'm very pleased with that."
