German club capture experienced midfielder
Wolfsburg have wrapped up the signing of experienced midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic on a free transfer after his Juventus contract expired.
The 34-year-old Bosnian spent the past four years in Turin following a successful stint at Bayern Munich, which saw him win six Bundesliga titles, four German cups and the UEFA Champions League in 2001.
A move to the Volkswagen Arena will reunite Salihamidzic with Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath for a third time after working under him at Hamburg and Bayern.
"For me it was clear that after Bayern and Juve, not every club would come into consideration," he said.
"But Felix Magath gave me the chance to play football and for that reason it was clear to me that I would do this.
"Here I am part of an interesting project that Felix Magath has built up."
Flexible
Magath added: "Brazzo is a player who has played in a number of positions at the very top level of football through his career.
"He is a signing that will make us flexible in the coming season.
"I'm convinced his maturity and experience will do our team good."
Salihamidzic is the Wolves' fourth new signing for next season, following on from the captures of Patrick Ochs, Srdjan Lakic and Mateusz Klich.
