Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth is delighted after securing "the final piece of the jigsaw" in his squad for the new season.
Thirty-year-old striker Colin Nish became Pools' fourth signing of the summer on Monday, joining Nathan Luscombe, Nolberto Solano and James Poole in moving to Victoria Park. And Wadsworth is delighted to complete the signing of the striker, who he believes is a "a really good footballer". "We targeted Colin before the end of last season," Wadsworth told the club's official website. "I think he will be an excellent signing for us and we are really looking forward to working with him. "I spoke to some top coaches in Scotland and we got good background information to support our decision to sign him. "I feel it is the final piece in the jigsaw; you look at the squad now and it has got good balance. We have got good cover in every position and we are certainly more balanced than we were before the summer."
