Luton's Kevin Nicholls has committed his future to the club despite their relegation from the Football League.

Committed Hatters skipper will remain at Kenilworth Road

Luton skipper Kevin Nicholls has committed his future to the club despite their relegation from the Football League. The Hatters lost their battle to overhaul a 30-point penalty on Monday after a goalless draw with Chesterfield at Kenilworth Road. Still with a handful of games to play this term, Mick Harford's side are now preparing for life in the Blue Square Premier next season. Doing so with the support of their dedicated skipper, Nicholls has vowed to stay with the club and help steer them back into the Football League.

Strong

"The most important thing now is to keep this group together and bounce back, which won't be easy as it's a very difficult league to get out of," he said. "But I believe we can bounce back and bring the good times back to Luton." He added: "I'm certainly staying a Luton Town player unless I hear otherwise."
