Conor McGrandles and Peter Pawlett will be missing for MK Dons at home to Bury.
Both suffered injuries at Oldham last Saturday, Pawlett picking up an ankle knock early on and McGrandles requiring hospital treatment for a fracture to his eye socket in stoppage time.
Baily Cargill and Mathieu Baudry are still sidelined but are due to step up their recoveries soon. Osman Sow is also missing but fellow striker Chuks Aneke made the bench last weekend after shaking off his recent injury.
Bury can call on the services of midfielder Callum Styles. The highly-rated teenager joined Barnsley earlier this week for an undisclosed fee but will stay with the Shakers on loan until January.
Defender Tom Aldred rejoined Motherwell on loan on deadline day. Gold Omotayo is pushing for a start after climbing off the bench to score a debut winner against Yeovil last weekend.
MK Dons won both matches against Bury in League One last season (2-0 in September 2017 and 2-1 in March 2018); they were one of only two sides that MK Dons did a league double over in 2017-18 (also Gillingham).
Bury have won just one of their last nine meetings with MK Dons in the league (D3 L5), a 3-1 victory in September 2016, with goals from James Vaughan (x2) and Zeli Ismail.
Bury - who won their opening match against Yeovil - haven't won their first two games of a league campaign since the 2008-09 season.
MK Dons' manager Paul Tisdale has won just three of his 11 meetings with Bury in all competitions (D3 L5), all with previous club Exeter City.
MK Dons' forward Chuks Aneke has scored three times in four league starts against Bury and scored two penalties in the most recent meeting to secure a 2-0 win for the Dons.
