League leaders continue march towards title

Leaders Leicester stretched their unbeaten League One run to 23 games with a comfortable 4-0 win against basement-club Cheltenham. City took the lead after 15 minutes when Tom Cleverley's deep cross on the right was headed home by Steve Howard, who rose above a static Robins defence from five yards. The Foxes doubled their advantage after 22 minutes when a Howard knockdown found Matty Fryatt, who from 12 yards drove across Scott Brown and into the far corner of the net. After a Jack Hobbs header had clipped the crossbar, Cleverley made it three for City after 67 minutes when he slotted the ball home after his mazy run had left the Cheltenham defence floundering. Cleverley then played in Matt Oakley, who ran through a ragged Town defence to guide home City's fourth after 70 minutes.
