Exeter captain Jordan Moore-Taylor could be a doubt for Friday's appointment with Barnet at St James Park.
Moore-Taylor went off at half-time as Exeter lost 1-0 to struggling Newport last weekend after being hurt in a tackle.
Grecians boss Paul Tisdale does not expect a lengthy absence for his skipper, but he might miss out when Barnet arrive in Devon.
Winger Lee Holmes, though, is nearing a return after being sidelined since suffering an ankle ligament injury against Yeovil on Boxing Day.
Barnet have no fresh injury worries ahead of their trip.
Bira Dembele and Tom Champion may in contention to feature after were both players were absent from the matchday squad during their 1-0 defeat against Luton last weekend.
Defender Michael Nelson was also dropped to the bench but could return to the starting XI for Kevin Nugent's side.
Otherwise, Shane Cojocarel (arm), Josh Vickers (quad), Jack Taylor (hernia), James Pearson (knee), Michael Gash (knee) and Shaun Batt (quad) remain long-term absentees.
