Everton will be looking to snap a run of four games without a win in all competitions against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
Ronald Koeman succeeded Roberto Martinez as Everton manager in June and won four of his first matches in charge. A recent lull in form has seen them slip out of the top-five but they bagged a precious point away at Manchester City last weekend - their second 1-1 draw in a row.
Meanwhile, Burnley have lost five of their eight Premier League games this season but did grab an impressive victory over Liverpool at Turf Moor, where they've only conceded six goals in their last league 18 games, including last season.
Burnley will be without Belgian midfielder Steven Defour who picked up at hamstring injury at Southampton, but manager Sean Dyche is hopeful he could push for a return in time for next week's trip to Manchester United.
Ashley Barnes is also nearing recovery from a hamstring strain while Andre Gray serves the final game of his four-match suspension for historic social media posts.
Everton's Leighton Baines will miss out after suffering a slight setback in his battle to return from a hamstring injury.
Koeman is without long-term absentees Muhamed Besic and Tyias Browning (both knee) and Matthew Pennington (hamstring) but Aaron Lennon is fit and ready for selection.
Burnley have lost three of their four Premier League games against the Toffees, but did win the first clash 1-0 in August 2009 courtesy of Wade Elliott's winner.
Everton have won their last three league games against the Clarets - they last won four on the bounce against them between 1968 and 1970.
Dean Marney has scored three Premier League goals in his career and all three have been against Everton (two for Spurs in January 2005 and one for Hull in November 2009).
The Toffees are unbeaten in their last 11 away Premier League games against newly promoted sides (W4 D7) since losing 2-1 to Reading in November 2012.
Burnley have scored in each of their last 18 home league games against Everton - only against Fulham (24) and Aston Villa (35) do they have a longer active run.
No Everton manager has won more points from their first eight Premier League games in charge than Koeman (15 - level with Martinez).
Tom Heaton has made 39 saves this season in the Premier League, at least eight more than any other keeper. 11 of those came in his last match against Southampton, the most by a keeper in a Premier League game this season.
Romelu Lukaku has scored six times in his last five Premier League games, this after failing to score in 11.
Yannick Bolasie has set up Lukaku three times this season - a joint-league high for one player assisting another.
The Clarets have scored just nine times in their last 20 Premier League games, failing to score on 13 occasions in that spell.
Burnley need to get a result. They try hard every week, but just don't have that little bit extra, and I think it's taking its toll.
You have to win your home games, if you're going to get beaten every week away from home. It puts severe pressure on them at home. Fulham a few years ago couldn't win away for toffee but their home record was phenomenal, and it kept them up.
Everton had a good result at Man City, but they were struggling before that. I think the turning point for their season was the Norwich game in the EFL Cup. The fans have been without a cup win since 1995, and they got beaten at home to Norwich, who didn't desperately need a cup run in their busy season.
But I think Everton will be too much for Burnley.
PAUL PREDICTS: 1-2 (15/2 with Sky Bet)
Everton have been priced up by Sky Bet as the 8/13 favourites to return with three points from Saturday's trip to Burnley. The Clarets are on offer at 19/4 for the win and the draw is available at 11/4. Everton have drawn both of their last two matches 1-1 and Sky Bet make it 11/2 that 1-1 is the scoreline in this Turf Moor contest.
