Kim Huybrechts squabbled with Paul Nicholson on the oche as tensions boiled over at last year's World Cup of Darts.
The Belgian duo of Kim and older brother Ronnie Huybrechts were pitted against the Australian pairing of Nicholson and Simon Whitlock in the quarter-finals of last year's tournament in Frankfurt.
Whitlock took the opening singles encounter for the Aussies with a 4-2 win over Ronny, but Kim then levelled the match after a 4-3 win over Nicholson, setting up a deciding doubles clash.
Ronny would seal a tense victory for Belgium and Nicholson appeared to be angered by Kim's celebratory gestures, but the pair quickly patched up their differences away from the oche.
Huybrechts later tweeted a picture of himself sat next to Nicholson with an accompanying message which read: "So much respect for you mate, let the haters hate!"
Kim and Ronnie will link up again for Belgium in the 2016 World Cup of Darts, live on Sky Sports, but Whitlock will instead be joined by Kyle Anderson in the Australia pairing.
