England selectors face decision over recall for Ian Bell

England's selectors will have to decide in the next few days if they want Ian Bell to return to international cricket this winter.
Sky sources understand the Warwickshire batsman has been offered a lucrative contract in the Big Bash - Australia's domestic T20 competition.
Perth Scorchers have offered Bell a deal which would see him travel to Australia in late November ahead of a potential Big Bash debut in Perth on December 23 against the Sydney Strikers.
Bell has requested a NOC (No Objection Certificate) which has to be agreed by both Warwickshire and the ECB. Perth are known to be keen to confirm Bell's signing this week, or will look elsewhere to fill the final berth in the player roster.
England selectors were due to meet in a fortnight to discuss the squad but may now have to meet in the coming days to decide Bell's fate.

The squad is due to be announced on September 9 ahead of their departure for Dhaka on September 29.
It was reported yesterday that the 34-year old Warwickshire captain met with Trevor Bayliss last week to discuss his form and his desire to play for his country once again. Bell has not played for England since the 2-0 series defeat to Pakistan back in November last year.
Since then, England's middle order has struggled to build significant scores consistently, while Bell has been in steady form for Warwickshire, averaging 37.14 in Division One.
Renowned as a fine player of spin bowling, Bell's 118 Test caps and 11 years of international experience could once again provide the answer as England head for Bangladesh and India.
If he heads for BBL06, Bell will play alongside Yorkshire's David Willey along with Adam Voges, Mitchell Marsh, Shaun Marsh and Nathan Coulter-Nile.
The Scorchers are the most successful team in the league's short history, winning the title consecutively for two years and have reached the final of the tournament in four of the five seasons.
