Ohara Davies believes Floyd Mayweather is standing in the way of a fight against Ashley Theophane after his argument with the head of 'The Money Team'.
Promoter Eddie Hearn is yet to receive a response from Mayweather's promotional company after making an offer for Theophane to face Davies at The O2 on June 3.
The unbeaten super-lightweight had challenged 'Money' Mayweather to arrange a bout with one of 'The Money Team' when they became embroiled in a heated verbal exchange, which has since gone viral on social media.
And Davies has suggested Mayweather's reputation will be damaged if his fighter Theophane suffers defeat.
"To be honest, I don't think Floyd wants any of his fighters to fight against me, because he knows what happened with me and him," Davies told Sky Sports.
"Once I beat one of his fighters, it will look bad for him, and he will probably feel like I have won the argument that we had. I think he's advised his fighters to keep away from me.
"Floyd is a fighter too, he knows how the game works. He knows that I will beat anyone that he's got and doesn't want to give me the last laugh. Floyd should just find me an opponent."
Theophane has called for a fight with Ricky Burns, who puts his WBA belt on the line against IBF champion Julius Indongo, and Davies says his gym-mate is not interested in facing the London-born fighter.
"I 100 per cent know that he isn't going to get Ricky Burns," said the Hackney man. "His last two fights against Adrien Broner and Pablo Cesar Cano, he got beat by them both.
"He's not ranked high enough in the governing bodies, he's got no title - there is nothing in it for Ricky Burns.
"I'm fighting on big shows, live on Sky Sports Box Office, there isn't any super-lightweight apart from Ricky Burns in this country that's fighting on a bill like that.
"I am the money fight. I actually think Ashley Theophane wants the fight against me, but Floyd is advising him not to take it."
Hearn confirmed that he made an offer for Theophane and is finding it hard to secure opponents for 'Two Tanks'.
"We have already offered the fight to Ashley Theophane for June 3 at The O2," Hearn told Sky Sports.
"We haven't heard back from his team yet. I don't think they really fancy that fight. Ohara, we're going to call him 'The Problem', because I don't think anybody is going to fight him."
