Tony Bellew has told David Haye the closest he is going to get to Anthony Joshua will be watching him from ringside.

Bellew will also be ringside and could not resist another dig following last week's volatile press conference ahead of their heavyweight showdown on March 4.

"David Haye is wasting his time watching Joshua because he's not going to get the chance to fight him if I've got anything to do with it - and I will have plenty to do with it," he told Sky Sports.

If anyone who is going to get to Joshua out of the two of us, it's me - and I am not even a heavyweight, I'm a cruiserweight

"If anyone who is going to get to Joshua out of the two of us, it's me - and I am not even a heavyweight, I'm a cruiserweight.

"If Haye wants to try and do that, he's got to come through me on March 4 and I am going to knock him out. He hasn't had a live opponent for five years.

"There might be one thing he benefits from being ringside on Saturday: he will realise he's just out of touch with boxing. He's out of touch with the sport and the whole business because he clearly thinks it's a pantomime.

"It's not. It is a serious business and not one I am playing with, yet I feel that's exactly what he's doing.

"It will be 12 weeks from Saturday and we will see who is the man is. Make no mistake, once I knock him out, I will be the man to beat."

Ahead of Anthony Joshua's IBF title defence against Eric Molina, here's a look at the other leading heavyweights raising the profile of the division

Bellew still believes Haye is the most dangerous heavyweight out there, outside the quartet of Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Wladimir Klitschko and Joshua.

The WBC cruiserweight world champion hails Fury as "still the king of the heavyweights" but even with the WBC holder Wilder back in action and former world number one Klitschko on the horizon, he believes 'AJ' is by far the best to watch and the perfect role model.

David Haye warns Anthony Joshua and his team he will be the most dangerous opponent out there.

"For me, he is the most exciting heavyweight in the world," he said.

"He's actually the face of the heavyweight division right now, which is good. He's doing some great things for the sport and I really do think he's doing fantastically.

"I am an Anthony Joshua fan - to a certain extent - he's brilliant at what he's doing, he's a top level fighter and he's a brilliant competitor. I am enjoying watch him.

"He is a brilliant role model for the sport, for all the kids looking up to him and I have to profess I can't say that and David Haye certainly can't say that."

Watch Anthony Joshua v Eric Molina at the Manchester Arena, on December 10, live on Sky Sports Box Office. Book the event via your Sky remote or online here.
