Anthony Ogogo is positive over his chances of overcoming Chris Eubank Jr if the British middleweights clash.

Olympic bronze medallist Ogogo was ruthless in stopping Frane Radnic after a round at The O2 on Saturday - his second quick-fire victory in less than a month as he looks to make up for time lost to an injury-ravaged two years.

Despite Eubank Jr appearing to be on the brink of moving to world level against Gennady Golovkin, the 27-year-old Ogogo (10-0-KO6) claims to have seen weaknesses in the Brighton man and plans to be in a position to expose them sooner rather than later.

He told Sky Sports: "I've seen many chinks in Eubank Jr's armour. I've seen them and I can exploit them. Being able to do that comes with experience. He's been a professional for longer than me and I've only had 10 fights. When I'm ready, I'll be ready.

"I'm not one of those who's in this game for the money. I'm in it because I love it and I'm going to be in it for a long, long time. When I fight for that world title, it'll be when I know I can win it.

"There's talk of Eubank Jr fighting Golovkin. When he gets bashed up by him, hopefully he's going to come back down and rebuild at domestic level. I see myself being a king at domestic level in a short space of time so hopefully that'll be a big fight.

Darren Barker believes Chris Eubank Jr would lose to Gennady Golovkin

"Billy Joe Saunders is WBO world champion and has a win over Eubank Jr but that's another fight I'm happy to take. I'm not there yet but, again, I've seen chinks in his armour that I know I can exploit. There's no point me saying it though - I've got to go and earn the right to fight those guys.

"When I do end up fighting Eubank Jr and those guys, it'll be a great spectacle. Everyone will have an opinion, everyone will have their say and hopefully it'll be a pay-per-view event at The O2 or at a football stadium. It'll be a great night for British boxing."

One former world middleweight champion is backing Ogogo to hit the heights - providing he can steer clear of further injury problems.

Darren Barker (26-2-KO16), who held the IBF title in 2013, told Sky Sports: "He's a big middleweight and he's got it all. He's quick and has fantastic amateur pedigree. He's not a concussive knockout artist but I've sparred with him and he can punch.

"His power demands respect. You wouldn't want to take too many right hands and left hooks from him. I was injury-prone and the biggest question is whether his body will hold up. People forget that it's not the fight; the injuries occur in 10-14-week training camps.

"What worries me about Anthony is that they're not recurring injuries. They're new injuries. You can't wrap a fighter in cotton wool and get them to fight night.

"As far as ability is concerned, Ogogo can go a long way. It's just whether his body can hold up and I wish him all the best because he's a lovely lad."
