Tyson Fury has offered German fight fans his sympathy over having to watch the lengthy reign of 'boring' Wladimir Klitschko.
Fury, who took the WBA Super and WBO belts from Klitschko in November, puts them back on the line in Manchester on July 9 and has been in characteristically amusing form in the opening press conferences.
Having removed his shirt and stated he "hates boxing" on Wednesday, the champion was in slightly more reserved mood in Cologne but still took the time to criticise the Ukrainian for failing to provide excitement.
Addressing the German media, Fury said: "Guten tag, menschen [Good day, people]. Wladimir said exactly the same as yesterday so if anyone wants to know what he's got to say, it's just like yesterday because he's boring, repetitive and says the same thing day-in, day-out.
"Look at the guy. He's more to be admired than respected because he's still here fighting at 40 years old, boring everybody to death.
"All those things he says I said about Elton John and the Queen - I don't hate Elton John or the Queen. I hate Wladimir Klitschko for what he's done to you German people; bored you for 15 years. Come on, you know you want to clap and agree with the champ!
"I've been going to sleep there listening to him. Who really cares what we've all got to say? Let's give the fans a good fight. Let's hope he comes to fight this time. He told me yesterday that he didn't try to win the fight last time, so why would you support a let-down, a failure like him when you can have a champion like me?
"Wladimir is a no-risk fighter. He doesn't want to take any risks. He might talk a good game and say he's going to come and fight but I'm yet to see it. The only entertaining ones he had were when he lost by knockout, so that's what happens when he tries to fight.
"Call me a clown, a circus act, fat, ugly, bald or even Sue. Just don't call me Wladimir Klitschko because that's an insult. Anything but that."
Fury's trainer and uncle, Peter Fury, predicted the rematch will be altogether different in tone from the first bout and fully expects the night to end early.
He said: "This is a genuine 50-50 fight. Klitschko knows what to expect. Tyson knows what to expect. Knowing Tyson so well and knowing boxing a little bit, and I see a stoppage in this fight. I don't see it going to the distance.
"I'm not a man to exaggerate my words. This is the way I see this fight panning out for either man. You are one punch away from disaster in heavyweight boxing. It's what makes it so exciting for everyone around the world.
"Enjoy the fight and may the best man win."
