Anthony Joshua says Dillian Whyte has been 'running his mouth off'

Anthony Joshua will continue to focus on running with his legs while next opponent Dillian Whyte is 'running his mouth'.

The Olympic champion (14-0-KO14) takes on long-time rival Whyte (16-0-KO13) at The O2 on December 12 and the animosity between the two - which began with a 2009 amateur bout won by Whyte - is mounting.

Whyte has continually branded Joshua 'fake' and 'boring' and even compared him to a housewife when the two found themselves in the same press conference for previous bouts - but Joshua is unfazed.

He told Sky Sports: "He's running his mouth as per usual. I'm out on the streets running and getting in my cardio - that's all I'm doing. We're going to clash.

"He beat me years ago. Many years ago. He seems to be bringing that into the future with him. I'm cool. If you think you can still beat me and that I'm that same kid, let's get it on at The O2 on December 12. We'll go to war.

"I'm going to get my runs right and I'm sure he wants to prove himself to his friends and family as well.

Right now is an interesting time and we've got a lot to prove because we want to be the top dogs in boxing at some stage.
