Ryan Burnett will face former champion Jason Booth for the vacant British bantamweight title at the Manchester Arena on November 21, live on Sky Sports.

Burnet has rattled off 11 straight wins, nine inside the distance, since turning professional just over two years ago.

The 23-year-old from Belfast stopped Hungarian Robert Kanalas in two rounds last time out to win the WBO European title but will face a step up in class against Booth.

Booth has won British and Commonwealth titles from flyweight to super-bantamweight, held an IBO version of a world title, challenged for the IBF strap and fought four times for the European title.

The 36-year-old, who has claimed 38 wins in 51 contests since turning professional almost two decades ago, returns to the ring after defeating Jason Cunningham over 10 rounds last November.

"Jason Booth is the most experienced and successful pro I have fought yet," said Burnett. "I know that the better the opponent the better I am. If he's strong, I punch harder, if he's slick, I'll be quicker.

"Fighting at the Manchester Arena on a night like this gives me Goosebumps of excitement - I'm going to reward everyone with the performance they all want."
