The Panel shared their scores and thoughts on Dillian Whyte's points win over Dereck Chisora

Whyte v Chisora

After a chaotic and highly-charged build-up, Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora produced an unforgettable fight at the Manchester Arena. The decision went Whyte's way but we asked The Panel if they agreed with the decision and if they want to see them do it all again...

I agreed with the scoring but had it gone the other way, I wouldn't have argued. Whyte had the meatier shots and over the 12 rounds was the more consistent and busier one, and that just gave him that slight edge.

Johnny Nelson

Did I think it was going to be that good? I actually did because there was too much at stake for it to be anything other than a great fight - personally as well as professionally. It might have got a little cheeky in there at times but it was just a good, good fight.

I am not sure if Dereck would want a rematch either. They don't need one and I know everyone will be hoping it will happen but I just have a feeling Dereck will just be thinking he doesn't really need to go through all that with Whyte again. The chapter might be over but the story isn't over for him.

Paul Smith

I've got to be honest, I missed two rounds back stage with my brother and my gym-mates boxing but from the 10 rounds I did see, I had it level. It was that type of fight - it really could've gone either way.

Paul Smith

I am not right all the time because I got Callum and Burton-Buglioni wrong for a start, but I just predicted this was going the way of Dillian Whyte, on points, after a very good fight. It was a very, very entertaining fight, they are both fast-paced fighters, they can both punch a bit and they both have good chins.

I would love to see it again but the one thing that I was most pleased with was the hug at the end.

Tony Bellew

I had Chisora by one, 115-114, but I can't complain. My heart always said Dereck and my head said Dillian and it really could've gone either way. I'd spoken with Dereck all week and he told me he had prepared hard out in Russia. All he'd done is eat, sleep and spar for a number of weeks and was in with a unit in the shape of Alexander Povetkin, so I knew he would be good. I was proud of him.

Tony Bellew

I am gutted but it has to be the fight of the night. It is probably the best heavyweight fight I've seen live in my entire life. The best one before that was Martin Rogan against Matt Skelton, but this one was better. Both looked to be out on their feet on several occasions and heavyweights usually go over, but these two were never going to do that.

They've got to have a rematch, they have to. I honestly didn't know if they were going to embrace at the end but massive, massive respect to both of them.

Jamie Moore

I had it to Whyte by two, level going into the 11th, but gave him the last two rounds. It was close though and you wouldn't have been surprised if it had gone the other way.

Jamie Moore

I am not sure we are going to get a rematch. Of course we'd all want to see it but I just have a feeling Chisora might call it a day after that. It was a long, hard night and I am not sure if he wants to push his body through that again.

Chisora's had a tough career and losing a close call after a fight like that might just tip him over the edge when it comes to deciding if he does retire. I am sure we'd all happily watch it again, but I just can't see it happening.

Carl Froch

These two would be my fighters of the night for a start. I actually had it down as a draw but Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora did themselves proud. They punched themselves out, they both took big shots and stayed in their until the end.

Carl Froch

It really could've gone either way, depending on what you like. You might have liked Whyte boxing, jabbing, landing the odd nice shot, or Chisora coming on, trying to land a big shot, going for the knockout.

I would love to see a rematch, but with Whyte winning this one I think it's settled all that bitterness that's been going on. I am not sure Chisora could get up for it again.
