Superleague champions Wasps Netball have signed South African star Renske Stoltz ahead of the 2018 season.
Stoltz, has nine caps for South Africa and impressed for Loughborough Lightning in the recent Fast5 tournament helping them win the title and picking up the MVP award on the way.
The 23-year-old was involved in the Quad Series back in January with South Africa and played for club side North West Flames in the Premier League last season.
Director of netball Tamsin Greenway is looking forward to welcoming Stoltz, who has quick ball movement and an eye for goal.
"We've been looking to cement the squad for next season and we felt that Renske was the perfect fit to bring our attacking end together," said Greenway.
"Her traditional goal attack style is just what we needed to allow other members of our squad to play in their preferred positions.
"We're excited about the mix that we have in the squad for the coming season. We have a lot of younger players that are desperate to get on the court and we want to give them as much opportunity as possible.
"We are aware that with the Commonwealth Games this season, we could lose a handful of players for a couple of league games. So, it was important to strengthen the squad to make sure we had ample cover.
"We're really looking forward to Renske coming over and getting to know the squad as we build towards another successful season."
